2025-08-20 Gather and See - The Empowerment Plan

In 2016, Impact100 Metro Detroit awarded our first grant to the Empowerment Plan. Since then, this important organization has grown tremendously in scope and impact. Founder Veronika Scott took a simple idea, create a coat/sleeping bag to help the homeless, and transformed it into a thriving nonprofit that not only manufactures those coats/bags, but employs and educates and empowers women to move forward with their lives. We will tour the facility and chat with organization leadership.Join us for coffee and snacks afterward - location TBD.
