Our History

In July 2015, a visionary group of women came together with a shared passion for creating meaningful change in their community. United by a belief in the power of collective giving, they founded Impact100 Metro Detroit.

Our vision extends beyond financial support; we seek to foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and empowerment among women in our community. We strive to be leaders in collective philanthropy, building a strong presence that inspires others to join us in our mission.

Our mission is deeply rooted in the belief that incredible things happen when women’s hearts align for collective giving. We are not just a group of diverse individuals, but a force for good, pooling our resources and talents to make a lasting impact in Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne counties.  At the heart of our organization is a commitment to awarding high-impact grants with significant potential for change. We shine a spotlight on nonprofits that are making a real difference in our community, amplifying their impact through our collective support.

As we look to the future, we aim to grow our membership to 500 women, each contributing $1,000. This will allow us to award five grants of $100,000 each. These grants will target our focus areas, magnifying the impact of our collective generosity and leaving a lasting legacy of positive change in Metro Detroit.
